I can’t imagine anyone will ever actually use this besides myself, BUT

This is an adapter that enables ABS/traction control when using a C4 S4/S6 passenger side axle for manual-swapping a D2 Audi A8 or S8.

The C4 ABS tone ring has a smaller diameter and is an integral part of the outer CV joint, so the D2 ABS sensor won’t reach. The D2/B5/C5 tone ring can be removed from the CV joint and slipped on using this printed adapter (it’s a pretty tight fit, by design).

I played around with the tolerances a bit until it printed to where it fit snugly with some hammering persuasion to ensure it doesn’t come loose, but your results may vary depending on shrinkage and such.

The tone ring needs to be put on the adapter first before being fitted to the axle, since it requires compliance to fit, which will be lost as soon as it’s mounted to the rigid outer CV.
