This is a Mug Carrier, to help reduce the risk of spilling while carrying a full mug of coffee/tea.

It prints in 6 parts, which slide/snap together, so it should be easy to print & assemble. Printing the arms laying down means the layer lines will provide the most strength, and makes them less likely to snap at the layers. Other designs out there only have one support arm, so they’re very thick and take a long time to print.

Works by lowering the liquid’s center of mass relative to the pivot/carrying point, as well as taking advantage of centrifugal forces. This reduces the sloshing in the mug, because the mug and liquid move together as a whole, as they swing/rock in the carrier.

Don’t worry about FancyMugCarrier.stl unless you want a challenge, that version was my attempt to create something a bit more artistic, while ignoring printing concerns. It looks nice, but I doubt how structurally strong the layer lines would be printing that way. So I have not tested this version yet.
